At the Las Vegas World Market Rowe Fine Furniture Introduces Furniture that Makes Sense

February 9, 2009 (Elliston, VA)– Rowe Fine Furniture returns to the Las Vegas Furniture Market in their permanent showroom in Building C, location 1305 with collections from their three portfolio brands - Rowe, Clayton Marcus and Robin Bruce.

Within the Rowe brand, one new style will debut at the Las Vegas Furniture Market. This new style embodies strong selling points for today's consumer who is looking for quality construction, eco-friendly elements, smaller-scaled options, unique details and furniture made in America.

New from Rowe
The Rockford [with nailhead detail] and Gibson [without nailhead detail] sofas measure 84"L x 34" D x 35" H. The settee in both groups measures 58" L x 34" D x 35" H and joins our Mini Mod collection of smaller-scaled furniture. The chair in both groups measures 29" L x 34" D x 35" H and the accompanying ottoman measures 25" L x 22" D x 19" H.

The settee offers a tight back and a bench cushion and the chair is a tight-back, loose seat cushion style.

This option of choice falls in line with Rowe's core focus of manufacturing custom ordered upholstered furniture with a choice of 500 fabrics, two cushion cores and six wood finishes. The custom upholstery option, with delivery to retailers in approximately thirty days is enhanced by the company's warranty on the frame and cushion cores.

The new Rockford and Gibson sofa groups will appear at retail in May 2009.

Eco-Friendly: Also on display in Las Vegas will be examples of eco-friendly upholstered furniture from both the Rowe and Robin Bruce collections. Initial efforts to produce eco-friendly upholstered furniture were met with enthusiasm from retail buyers and consumers, so much so that we have introduced the same manufacturing attention to the Robin Bruce collection. Eco-friendly cushions are available in both collections and the wood used in the frames is from replenished, domestic forests. Rowe currently offers over 140 natural fiber fabrics and Robin Bruce offers 90 natural fiber fabrics, including 8 certified organic fabrics.

Smaller-Scaled: The desire for smaller-scaled furniture is even more powerful as the consumer trends towards more modest living environments. Rowe's collection of smaller-scaled furniture, known as Mini Mod, has been a hit since it was first introduced at the High Point Furniture Market in October 2003. The settee in both the Rockford and Gibson groups measures 58" in length and is a suitable addition to the several smaller-scale styles currently offered in the Rowe collection.
