Innovation in Custom Upholstered Accent Tables Debuts at High Point Furniture Market


April 20, 2009 (Elliston, VA)– A unique way to complement your upholstered furniture debuts at the High Point Furniture Market. The Iris collection of fully upholstered accent tables is available in both the Rowe and Robin Bruce collections.

The Iris Collection of fully-upholstered accent tables includes:

  • End Table: 24" L x 20" D x 24" H
  • Console: 48" L x 14" D x 31" H
  • Cocktail Table: 42" L x 36" D x 18" H

The Parson-style tables may be fully upholstered in either just one fabric or a second fabric may be selected for the top inset. If a second fabric is selected for the top inset, the consumer has a choice of any of the existing 500 Rowe and 200 Robin Bruce fabrics. The fabric for the main frame of the tables may also be selected from either the Rowe or Robin Bruce fabrics but must be a Regular (RG) fabric which does not require any pattern matching. Each table has a 3/8" piece of tempered glass to lie flush on top.

Prior to the debut of these fully upholstered accent tables, consumers would select accent tables made from numerous woods, other natural fibers like bamboo, various metals, glass and manufactured plastics. All of these options offered varying degrees of color, pattern and texture but with a fully upholstered accent piece, the consumer could select a fabric that would simultaneously add color, pattern and texture to the room décor. The opportunity to create a unique and exciting home décor just became more interesting.

The Iris Collection of fully-upholstered accent tables will be sold separately as an End Table, Console and Cocktail Table and will appear at retail in August.
